Atlas TTS Biometric Information Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026 · Effective: 23 October 2026

This Biometric Information Privacy Policy is applicable to users of the services provided by Run Atlas LLC (“Atlas”) in the United States of America.

Atlas’ text-to-speech voice generation AI model (the “Atlas Model”), accessible via the website located at https://runatlas.com (the “Site”), converts text and other inputs into synthesized speech output, including through named preset voices and through the creation of custom or cloned voices from reference audio submitted to the Atlas Model. In providing these services, Atlas collects, processes, and stores users’ biometric information with the user’s consent. Biometric information consists of information we collect about your biological characteristics that can be used to uniquely identify you. The term “biometric information” includes “biometric identifiers.” A “biometric identifier” is a retina or iris scan, fingerprint, voiceprint, or scan of hand or face geometry.

1.Biometric information we collect

When a user consents to Atlas’ collection of their biometric information and uploads voice samples to create custom or cloned voices, we upload the voice samples to our servers and derive a mathematical representation of the user’s voice (a “voiceprint”) from the recordings. The voiceprints we derive may be considered biometric information. If a user uploads voice samples of another individual, the user must first obtain that individual’s express, documented consent, as required by our Terms of Service. Atlas may re-derive your voiceprint from your voice samples each time your custom or cloned voice is used.

2.Purposes of collecting biometric information

We collect and use a user’s biometric information to create custom or cloned voices for the user and to operate, provide, maintain, support, train, and improve the Atlas Model and our related services.

3.Retention of biometric information

We store users’ voice samples and biometric information until the earlier of (a) the user’s deletion of the applicable custom or cloned voice or of the user’s account, or (b) three (3) years from the user’s last account activity. “Account activity” means the user’s most recent login to, or use of, the Services, including through an API. Users may permanently delete individual custom or cloned voices (including the underlying voice samples) or their entire account via the Site. Upon satisfaction of the applicable retention period or receipt of a valid deletion request, Atlas will permanently destroy the user’s biometric information and/or voice samples, including backup copies, within thirty (30) days, unless we are required to retain them by applicable law, such as law enforcement legal process or court order. Deletion of voice samples and biometric information does not reverse any Atlas Model improvements derived therefrom.

4.Disclosure of Biometric Information

We use service providers, such as cloud computing services, to store and process your biometric information. Those service providers are not permitted to use your biometric information other than to provide services on our behalf in connection with the Atlas Model. Other than our service providers, we will only disclose users’ biometric information to third parties with the user’s consent or if we are required to do so by applicable law, including valid law enforcement legal process. We do not sell your biometric information.

If you have questions about our collection, use, or storage of biometric information, please contact us at info@runatlas.com.
